What are the Best Wedding Dance Shoes for a Bride?

The best wedding dance shoes for a Bride has three considerations.

Firstly … If you’re wearing a full-length Wedding Dress, ensure your dancing shoes are the SAME HEIGHT as the shoes you were wearing during the final dress fitting. For example, if your dancing shoes have a far shorter heel than the shoes worn during the final fitting, your dress will spill down and over the dance floor, creating an obstacle for your Groom.

Secondly ... If you plan to wear heeled shoes, avoid a stiletto heel and instead choose a platform heel. The wider heel base will provide you significantly more stability (and confidence) during your dance, particularly with any dance turns.

Lastly … Please ensure the strapping of your shoes means that as your feet move, your shoes immediately respond. For example, if you twist your foot you want you shoe to immediately move with you and for your foot to NOT be slipping inside your shoe. To ensure this, choose shoes with adequate strapping over each foot and completely around the back of the foot.
