How Many Private Dance Lessons for a Wedding Dance?

How many private dance lessons you’ll need for your Wedding Dance depends on three considerations.

  1. For how long do you and your partner intend to be the only two people on the dance floor? You may simply choose to dance half of song (until others join you), all of the song or perhaps a mash-up of extracts from numerous songs. Naturally, the longer you’re the only two people on the dance floor, the more dance steps needed to populate this time-frame. The more steps to learn, then the more lessons will be needed.

  2. How often will you and your partner have the opportunity for at-home practice whilst being between your private dance lessons? Naturally, the more practice then the faster you’ll learn away from the studio, so fewer lessons will be needed.

  3. What is your rate o learning dance together as a couple? Whilst the standard “Bell Curve” applies here, simply some couples learn much faster than the average and some, for whatever reason, may take a bit more time. Naturally, the faster you learn within each lesson then the fewer lessons will be needed.

It’s for these reasons, I provide a casual-pay-as-you go arrangement (with no fixed contracts). However, wherever possible, please start your lessons four to six months early and enjoy the resource of time leading up to your very special day. Easy!!!

If you have any additional questions, feel free to ask me during your fun private dance lessons in the Let’s Dance wedding dance studio.
