You'll Be Welcomed, Not Judged

First things first, there are no auditions here. At Let's Dance, your first wedding dance lesson is all about you and your partner feeling comfortable. Whether you're based in Brisbane City, New Farm, Toowong or travelling in from the Gold Coast suburbs of Helensvale, Southport or Upper Coomera, you'll arrive to a warm, friendly studio environment where the only goal is to make you feel at ease from the very first step.

We work with couples of all experience levels. Zero dance background? Absolutely fine. Two left feet? We've seen it before, and we promise you'll leave smiling.

A Little Chat First

Before a single step is taken, your wedding dance instructor will sit down with you both for a relaxed chat. We want to know your vision. Are you after simple wedding dance choreography that flows beautifully with your song, something with a bit more energy like fun first dance choreography, or a fully choreographed wedding dance routine that will genuinely wow your guests?

We'll talk about your wedding song, your comfort level, your timeline, and most importantly, what feels right for you both as a couple. This is your wedding dance, and every decision is yours to make.

Your Song, Your Style

Once we know what you're after, your instructor will help you understand what style of choreography suits your chosen track. A slow, heartfelt ballad lends itself beautifully to slow wedding dance choreography, perhaps in the style of a Rumba or Bolero. A more upbeat number might inspire upbeat first dance choreography with elements of Cha Cha or Salsa. If you've spotted something on social media and love the idea of a trending wedding dance, we can absolutely work with that too.

After the chat, it's time to actually dance. Your instructor will guide you through the basic foundation of your chosen style, keeping things clear, achievable and, most importantly, fun. You won't be thrown into complex choreography on day one. Instead, you'll build confidence step by step, because confidence is what makes a first dance truly memorable.

For couples who've never danced together before, this part is often a lovely surprise. There's something genuinely romantic about learning to move together, and most couples leave their first lesson feeling far more capable than they'd expected.
