The Rumba
The Rumba is the most popular wedding dance style we teach at Let's Dance, and it's not hard to see why. It's romantic, deeply expressive, and beautifully suited to a wide range of contemporary love songs. The Rumba flows with a gentle swaying quality that looks incredibly elegant even when performed by complete beginners.
Rumba choreography is built on a slow, sensual rhythm, making it ideal for ballads and mid-tempo songs. If your wedding song has that warm, emotional feel to it, a Rumba is almost certainly going to feel like the perfect fit.
From a technical perspective, Rumba is one of the most accessible styles for beginners. The steps are clear, the hold is intimate, and the choreography can be as simple or as elaborate as you like. A simple first dance choreography in Rumba can look absolutely stunning without requiring months of training.

What About Waltz?
